Ingredients

300 g watermelon, cubed

• 30 g rhubarb

• 1 frozen banana, sliced

• 1 Tbsp Red Star® Nutritional Yeast

• 1tsp chia seeds

• 1 cup almond milk or coconut water

• ½ tsp fresh lime juice

• Ice cubes (optional)

Recommendation

Nutritional yeast has a pronounced umami taste; it is therefore best not to use it in overly fruity smoothies and to favor more neutral, balanced alternatives such as spinach, kale, avocado, or cucumber.
